We are working towards a

South Africa where everyone thrives!

WHO WE ARE

HCI Foundation is the corporate social investment arm of HCI, a black empowerment investment company that has its origins in the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union. Our primary concern is the upliftment of all people in South Africa so that all may share in an improved quality of life.

We aim to bring about change and make a sustainable impact in underdeveloped and underprivileged communities through interactive partnerships with other stakeholders.

OUR PROGRAMMES

Education

The HCI Foundation Bursary Programme aims to contribute to the development of young people in South Africa by providing bursaries to financially disadvantaged and academically deserving students for a first tertiary degree.

Youth and Skill Development

We believe that the performing arts promote holistic growth and development and our Arts and Culture programme supports organisations that provide skills and creative arts training programmes for youth to build confidence and maximise potential.

Environment

Our environment programme funds initiatives which raise awareness of the importance of natural resources in building community sustainability and provide education and expertise to develop local infrastructure.
